What to Expect at Futures

FAQ

Do I need to register for sessions in advance?

Not at all! You are welcome to plan your own agenda to help guide your time at #Futures20 but no pre-event registration is required once you’ve purchased your ticket.

I’m not a youth – can I still attend First Work’s Aspire Youth Summit?

Yes! Your ticket to Futures gives you access to the Youth Summit. Note – the intended audience of this day is young people (15-30), but you are more than welcome to sit in for the content and the benefit of the youth you are bringing.

I only want to attend one day of Futures – can I get a reduced ticket?

Unfortunately, no. But because #Futures20 is virtual, you can access all the conference content for up to 30 days after the conference! Tune in to the sessions you missed at your leisure through November.

There are two sessions I’m interested in taking place at the same time. What can I do?

Don’t worry! Thanks to moving virtual, we’ll have all sessions posted to the platform following the conference close. This content will be accessible for 30 days after the conference.

I’ve never been to a Virtual Conference. Where is this conference taking place?

Online! We’re using the virtual conference platform EventMobi to host #Futures20 and will be enabling Zoom functionality for some sessions (think Breakout Rooms).

I’m interested in covering Futures, who should I reach out to?

Amazing! You can reach out to our communications manager, Sophia Koukoulas at Sophia@firstwork.org. You can also find our release on Futures and on First Work’s Aspire Youth Summit here.
